Video "They are calling us" is based on interviews I made some years ago with my father. The narration is based on his biography and it is a story of a generation that believed in making a utopian socialist state. This is juxtaposed with contemporary stories of teenagers (refers to the project interviews) and it presents historical processes with a conceptual/ideological gap between generations. I am interested in this gap as a space that testifies about the most degenerate condition or the defeat of utopian society but at the same time it can open up a space for those possibilities to blossom again.
